Chill Cryotherapy’s location remains open during the Covid-19 outbreak. We are asking clients to call or make appointments online. We want to make sure we keep the number of clients at our facility low and also allow time for disinfecting equipment after each use. We are trying to book our Cryo T-Shock appointments either before we open at 10 AM on Saturdays and on Sundays by appointment only.
Research has suggested that cryotherapy can increase the amount of white blood cells, the soldier cells that fight infection. This would allow your body to identify and attack the foreign organisms that may cause illness more quickly. As well as fortifying the immune system, cryotherapy also invokes other positive immune responses such as decreasing inflammation by boosting the number of anti-inflammatory cytokines and reducing pro-inflammatory cytokines. This leads to the body being able to heal damaged muscles more quickly.
Our PEMF mat can also be used to boost your immune system. Certain PEMF therapy settings are better for a given specific type of cells, but in general, PEMF therapy can benefit all the body’s cells equally. The immune system is composed of cells that play the same role within the body. Like any other type of cell, they can become fatigued and dysfunctional, which is when infections and diseases happen. PEMF therapy can help us recharge our white blood cells, keeping them in optimal condition at all times. PEMF has highly beneficial effects on neutrophils, which are, along with leucocytes, the immune system’s main weapon in fighting pathogens.
