Chill’s newest devices are a set of two handheld LED light therapy devices that are FDA approved as medical devices. Due to their mobile nature, these LEDs are closer to the skin than any other LED technology, allowing for greater penetration. The blue-light therapy, Zero Gravity’s Sapphire, penetrates 1 mm into the epidermis to kill bacteria, eliminate the inflammation around the pore, disinfect the sebum and return the sebaceous gland back to normal, and close the pore—all in less than 10 minutes! The Sapphire has uses ranging from treatment of acne, hyperpigmentation, and scars to disinfecting cuts, scrapes, and burns.
Despite its newness to Chill, we have had tremendous results with the Sapphire. One of our teenage clients came in looking for a non-medical solution to her acne; she was on Accutane and other medicines but did not see any visible results. Within three treatments, she was taken off of those potentially harmful medications and is excited to share her experience with the Sapphire with her high school classmates!
